溪头村沿古南公路分布，在五华山南麓，东边是凤都村，西边与碗厂村、林场相接，北边连着双珠村，离古田县城约18公里。[1]

荣誉[edit]

1992年，村子被宁德地区评为文明村。1993年，村子获福建省委、省政府授予的「明星村」称号，同年的“福宁新村杯”村镇建设评比中也被评为先进村庄。1997年，因初级卫生保健工作突出，获宁德地区表彰为先进单位。[1]

经济[edit]

村里以食用菌、水果和茭白为主要产业。村民自办的食用菌专用房有六百余间，村内还有一处由外资引入的杏鲍菇规模化出口生产基地，产品销往国内大城市及海外。[1]
