大平村位于水门畲族乡西北部，离镇区5.5公里，下辖8个自然村、4个村民小组。全村总面积6575亩，共238户1041人[1]。

地理环境[edit]

村域多山地与丘陵，山场开阔，气候湿润，雨量充沛。山地4620亩，水田980亩，农旱地975亩[1]。

经济林方面，茶园180亩、栀子60亩，毛竹林有570亩，油茶（红花）60亩[1]。
