金鸡村位于三沙镇东北部，海拔约300米，距镇区3.2公里。村名因村后一座山形似大金鸡而得。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村东连花竹村与青官蓝村、青官司村，南接金洋村和三沙镇区，西邻八斗村，北接南太姥。村是大楼岗山空军预警雷达站的进出口。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这里在1949至1957年称金鸡村。1958年，农业社组成生产大队，即金鸡生产大队，当年成立。[1]
