沙头村在霞浦县城郊南部，有五个自然村，属松山街道管辖；村中外来常住人员较多。[1]

村子已融入霞浦城区，2021年被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村域面积3.3平方公里，山地680亩，耕地31亩，其中水田15亩。[1]

霞浦高速互通口设在村境内，县道961穿过村中心，赤岸大道从村前贯通。[1]

县第八小学设在村域内。[1]

人口民族[edit]

全村730户，总人口3027人（村情简介未注统计时间）。2001年8月，三峡水库移民安置在该村，移民206人，占全村人口的6.8%。[1]

经济[edit]

村财主要来自村内农贸市场、仓储以及店面出租。村民以服务业、运输业为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年8月设沙头生产大队；1984年改称沙头村，并设村民委员会。2020年，村子由松港街道划归松山街道，地名沿用至今。[3]

2021年11月，省爱卫办授予沙头村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[2]
