江边村是霞浦县松港街道东北部的行政村，距县城中心5公里，位于罗汉溪下游，属铁路沿线村。全村古称江边堡，村名源于溪面宽阔、前人称之为江。[1][2]

地名与位置[edit]

村子位于罗汉溪下游，溪面很宽，前人称之为江，村因此叫江边。周边依次是赤岸村（东）、桥头村（南）、竹下村（西）和下村村（北）；村子离霞浦火车站仅1公里，并与罗汉溪旅游景区相连。[1][2]

村落与人口[edit]

村中有456户、2183人，下辖江边、墓亭下、双坑、溪前、附马洋、上五斗和西坑7个自然村，主村在江边。共有11个村民小组，多为苏姓和黄姓。[2]

土地[edit]

全村面积约20.1平方公里。水田1500亩在耕地中占了大头，耕地共计2450亩，平均每人约半亩。山地有5000亩，森林覆盖率为75%。[2]

文化[edit]

村内有濙江宫，宫中存有《江氏家谱》，另有温坑灵圣宫。村后山上有一处“仙人脚印”景观。每年农历正月十八、四月初八，村里都要举办民俗文化节，供奉儒候仕王与白马明王。[2]

荣誉与历史沿革[edit]

2022年10月，江边村入选第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇，认定单位为福建省农业农村厅。[1]

1958年公社化时，此地设江边生产大队。1984年政社分开后，大队改称江边村，同时选出村民委员会。[1]
