西园镇位于福建省龙岩市漳平市中西部，处在九龙江北溪上游，距漳平市区约7千米。镇境以丘陵为主，村落沿江两岸分布，漳平高速出口、南龙高铁漳平西站和漳平工业园区都设在镇内。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清及民国初期，这一带归居仁里的丁坂社和九鹏社管辖。[1] 1934年，里、社之制被废止，此地先后设成丁（登）坂与基泰两个联保，隶属第一区；两年后的1940年，两个联保并成登泰乡。[1]

1944年，登泰乡与党洋乡并在一起，改称党泰示范乡，新名各取两乡原名的一个字，西园片则分出西园、登前、进秀、基泰、卓遂五个保。[1] 新中国成立之初，此地仍叫党泰乡，其后改称党泰区。[1]

1956年，这里分成西登、基泰两乡；1957年撤区并乡，改为党泰督导片；1958年设党泰公社，1960年并入城郊公社，1961年析出，设西园公社。[1] 博雅地名网则说1956年是西园、登坂两乡并为西登乡，两说不同，此处以政府网站为准。[1][2]

1984年，西园公社改为西园乡；2013年，西园乡改设为西园镇。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

镇境南北较长、东西较窄，形状不规则。地形属丘陵，村落分布在九龙江两岸，地势较平坦，平均海拔约170米。[1]

镇政府网站称全镇土地总面积为76平方千米，漳平市统计年鉴（2024年）则列为75.36平方千米，此处以年鉴数字为准。[1][4]

气温方面，年均值为20.5℃；降水年均约1550毫米；一年中无霜期有317天，日照约为1696小时。气候属亚热带季风类型，春夏多雨，秋冬干旱较明显。[1]

人口民族[edit]

据镇政府网站，截至2021年底，全镇约4698户，总人口1.5万人左右。居民以汉族为主，日常多说西园地方话。[1]

经济[edit]

镇政府在工业上的规划以三个产业园为引擎，即钢铁产业园、红狮水泥静脉园和丁坂工业园，漳平工业园区也在境内。[1]

农业方面，2021年，特色农产品基地的面积合计超过6000亩：糖蔗约600亩以上，油茶则有1200余亩新发展，黑米200余亩，另有70余亩大棚菜。同年建成生态高效农业园2处；家庭农场方面，省级示范1家，龙岩市级示范有3家。[1]

2024年，基泰红糖入选第二批「名特优新农产品」。[1]

文化[edit]

截至2021年末，镇里共有农家书屋8个，书籍约1.5万册，另有学校体育场10处、老人活动中心10处；遂林村、卓宅村等6个行政村设有农民健身工程。[1]

文艺团体有钟秀汉剧团和遂林村的鼓乐队；民间艺术有丁坂村龙舟队，西园村则有舞狮队。[1]

丁坂龙舟队曾于1989年以福建队的名义赴武汉比赛，在国际龙舟邀请赛中，1000米项目第四，600米项目第六，总分排第五；1991年，丁坂队在北京举行的第一届「九龙杯」比赛中，800米拿下第一，600米排第二。[1]

市文化体育和旅游局于2023年8月公布第三批市级非遗传承人名单，朱大平在列，他所传承的是「漳平古法草木灰固体碱制作技艺」。[5]

荣誉方面，2020年12月，福建省爱卫办授予西园镇「福建省卫生乡镇」称号；2023年1月，西园镇被定为2022年度龙岩市「平安乡镇（街道）」。[1][2]
