岭下村位于永福镇西南部，离镇驻地约12.5千米，村落散布在崇山顶部与坡谷之间[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村庄坐落在大西岭之下，取名“大岭下”，后简称今名[1]。1934年称岭下保，隶第二区龙车联保，后并入永福镇[3]。土改后归第三区适元乡，后划入山坪乡；1957年又并回适元乡。1958年隶永福公社，1961年析出岭下大队，归适元公社，1964年复归永福公社；1984年改为岭下村，隶永福乡；1987年随永福设镇[3]。

文化[edit]

1930年，当地农民举行暴动并建立苏维埃政权；村内曾是南靖、漳平两县边区的区委与苏维埃政府所在地，所属自然村皆为革命基点村[3]。

经济[edit]

林业兼营，耕地多为梯田，粮食以水稻为主，杂粮次之；出产杂木、毛竹和麻竹[2]。
