大田村隶属于武平县下坝乡，距集镇中心约5公里，距县城约32公里。村境内的矿区有高岭土矿藏。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，相传很早以前，李田尾有一丘田能产二十四担稻谷，村因此得名大田。[1]

1958年公社化后恢复为大田大队。1984年设立大田村委会，隶属下坝乡，村名沿用至今。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子往东南可至大成村，西北与福兴、露冕两村相接，乘车约一小时即可到达县城。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以种植水稻、仙草为主，兼产灵芝、溪黄草等农副产品。[1][2]

村境内矿区的高岭土矿，资源储量已探明达300万吨。[3]

文化[edit]

2023年1月，大田村被命名为2022年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月，又被命名为2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
