社区成立于1995年，此后地名沿用未改。[1][2]

文化[edit]

2000年至2011年间，社区连续四届获福建省委、省政府授予「文明社区」称号。2021年2月，社区列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]
