埔头村与永定区洪山乡相邻，村中有三个自然村：上埔头、下埔头和大栋。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来由是丰朗溪流入黄潭河的汇合处，泥沙在此冲积成沙埔，故名埔头。[1]

清代属胜运里丰稔片。[1]

经济[edit]

大栋自然村原为革命基点村，2009年列入「造福工程」，整村搬迁至集镇周围。村民收入主要来自粮食、烤烟和生猪。[1]

埔头村于2020年12月入选「2020年度福建省一村一品示范村」名单（蜜柚）；埔头村于2021年10月被龙岩市农业农村局认定为龙岩市2021年市级「一村一品」专业村（蜜柚）；埔头村于2021年11月获得「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
