高山村位于峰市镇，由寨上、高山、桑子三个自然村组成，其中高山自然村在峰市各村中海拔最高。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名原为东联。第一次地名普查时，因另有一个同名的东联，又因地处海拔较高、四面环山，改称高山。[1]

此地在民国时期属峰市特种区，新中国成立后归第九区管辖，1958年划入上水乡，公社时期称东联大队，1980年改属高山大队，1984年6月设立高山村民委员会。[1]

2013年，因造福工程，村民迁到锦西桂竹桥对面。高山村是棉花滩水电大坝兴建以来，峰市未涉及移民的两个行政村之一。[1]

2024年1月，高山村被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村内杂木和毛竹资源丰富，一向是峰市的竹器生产基地，还出产枇杷、李子、烤烟和“六月红”芋子。[1]
