社区所在区域在1933年属大同乡，社区因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1982年4月以前，这一带隶属城关镇东街居委会；同年4月组建大同居委会，2002年1月改称大同社区居民委员会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

「平安村居（社区）」称号先后于2021年1月授予2020年度、2023年1月授予2022年度、2024年1月授予2023年度，均由龙岩市评定。[1]
