溪头村地处小松镇北面，下辖的五个自然村为溪头、岭边、高墩、伊墩、钱坑林。[1]村子位于小溪的上游，村名由此而来。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子四面环山，山岭起伏，适于杉木、竹子和松木生长。[2]

经济[edit]

田间山间种植茶叶、竹笋、柑桔等作物，食用菌、板栗、杨梅、枇杷也有产出，居民多以务农为生。[2]

文化[edit]

村民说的是建瓯话，不过村与村之间腔调略有差别。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年设小松溪头乡，1958年成为小松公社溪头大队，1984年改用今名。[1]2021年11月，省爱卫办授予溪头村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
