高山村是政和县岭腰乡下辖的行政村，与西坑、横坑、长垅、前溪、锦屏、岭腰等村相邻。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村庄所在地势较高，山峦耸起，因而叫高山。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国29年设高山保，隶遂应场乡，民国33年改属启贤乡。1951年设高山乡，隶第五区。1958年组建高山大队，并入红旗公社，1969年又转归铁山公社。1984年起为行政村，置村民委员会。1997年铁山的七个村另组岭腰乡，高山村随之归属。[1]

文化[edit]

2017年8月，高山村列入福建省第二批省级传统村落名录；2019年6月，列入第五批中国传统村落名录。[1]

2021年11月，高山村获省爱卫办认定为2021年度福建省卫生村；2022年10月，省农业农村厅把高山村列为第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇。[1]
