北门社区位于潭城街道市区北部，2003年12月正式成立，辖区面积2.5平方公里，南起潭山公园，北与童游新村相接，东至崇阳溪，西至螃蜞路坡顶。[1][2]

社区位于城区北部，俗称北门，因此得名。[1] 社区于2003年12月成立，沿用至今。[1]

辖区概况[edit]
