山边村位于福建省漳州市平和县坂仔镇的北面，距镇区约7公里，距平和县城约5公里，是一个农业村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

清乾隆年间，村子属宝鼎约山边社，因此得名。[1]

概况[edit]

全村有14个村民小组，393户，1520人。[1] 村内有四个自然村落，分布较为密集，人口居住集中。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2015年10月，山边村入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」。[1] 山边村入选「2021年福建省卫生村」，入选决定由福建省爱卫办作出，时在2021年11月。[1]

2021年12月，山边村被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」。[1] 2024年6月，山边村列入「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
