埔头村是福建省漳州市东山县杏陈镇下辖的行政村，位于东山县西北部，周边与礁头、径口、磁窑、前何、埕英、张家、高陈、后林、大山产等村相邻。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村名源于一个传说：一条龙游入内海，在埔头海岸点了一下头，先民以为是吉兆，便选在这片草埔地上建村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1960年撤乡建立生产大队，埔头以单独的自然村设立埔头生产大队。1984年设立村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办将埔头村命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2023年12月，村子被命名为「2023年度福建省森林村庄」。[1]
