白石村在霞美镇南部，东边隔旧镇港与六鳌半岛相对，西邻黄埔村，北接霞美村，南与溪仔村相接。村东的海滩旧时有一块大白石，村名由此而来[1]。

2024年6月，入选「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]

沿革[edit]

清代为七都白石保。1940年设白石乡，辖白石保；1944年白石乡并入霞美乡。新中国初期属第四区旧镇区的白石乡。1958年9月设旧镇公社北江管理区白石大队，1961年7月划归溪仔墟公社；1964年9月溪仔墟公社并入霞美，白石大队改隶霞美公社。1984年称霞美乡白石村，1990年随乡改镇。[1]

经济[edit]

村边滩涂有养殖，养殖牡蛎、花蛤、对虾的农户百余家，另有壳灰、红木家具等小型企业，并有运输业。[1]
