白石村是佛昙镇下辖的行政村，位于镇境东部，北濒佛昙港。博雅地名网记其为「大白石村」。村名原为白石，又名白礁，因村境内有一块白色天然礁石而得名。村辖16个村民小组。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

这里清代为十七都石门上保的地界，民国时期归佛昙镇白石保，新中国成立初期划入佛昙区的白石乡。[2]

1958年9月设白石生产大队；1981年11月，因霞美人民公社也有白石大队，此处改称白石大队；1984年起设为行政村。[2]

人口与姓氏[edit]

杨姓约占85%。其中以世隆公长房之下三房大秀公一支人数最多，长房大成公的后人次之；另有叶、谢等姓。[2]

叶姓源自明代洪武年间漳浦知县叶宗广。[2]

经济与物产[edit]

耕地1819亩，其中水田389亩；滩涂近千亩，虾池100亩，吊蚵260亩。种植以芦笋和各类蔬菜为主。[2]

白石芦笋是佛昙镇三大名优特产之一。1991年村里建成白石码头。[2]
