白石村在火田镇西北，共5个自然村。据博雅地名网所载，它是镇里海拔最高的村子。[1]

得名[edit]

先人迁来时，看见山上的石头多为红、橙、紫等颜色，于是取其反义，定名为白石。[1]

沿革[edit]

清朝时，何氏家族迁入此地。1984年建村。[1]

自然与经济[edit]

山上有百余亩百年以上的老茶树，村中以茶叶为特产。山地9500亩，耕地1050亩，森林覆盖率为84.8%。[1]

2010年，「大茂山」牌铁观音在「第七届中国国际茶叶博览会」上获得金奖。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2017年8月，白石村列入「第二批省级传统村落」名录。[1]

2019年12月，白石村入选「第一批国家森林乡村」名单。[1]

2020年1月，白石村获评漳州市2020年度市级「一村一品」示范村，产品为茶叶。[1]

2021年12月，白石村列为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」。[1]

2023年10月，白石村进入「2023年福建省金牌旅游村」名单。[1]
