南门村位于角美镇南部，东接埭头村，西邻蔡店村沧里社，南临九龙江北溪出海口。[1]

沿革[edit]

1951年3月，南门与石美两村合为石美乡。此后，1961年分出南门大队；1971年设革命委员会；1975年4月重新编为生产大队；1984年改称南门村；1993年改属龙海市角美镇南门村委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内有明代嘉靖年间始建的慈寿宫，另有镇南宫、承德宫、凤山寺等庙宇，慈寿宫为市级文物保护单位。[2]
