西华社区位于西坪镇中心街区，是镇区的一个社区，1998年设立居委会。[1]

地名由来[edit]

因社区处在镇区中心、街市热闹，取「西华」为名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地在1958年曾随西坪大队划分。1970年设居民领导小组，1988年转为街道管委会。1998年10月正式设立居委会，即今西华社区，所辖包括西华街、香茗街、东溪巷与开发区。[1]

社区服务[edit]

2012年10月，社区把居家养老服务站挂牌开办，站内有文体活动室、农家书屋与书报阅览室，服务内容以助老为主。[1]
