山尾村是涂寨镇辖下的行政村，村址靠近文笔山的山脚。村中的坝内古民居是清代建成的李氏宅院群，为县级文物保护单位。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：村子建于明正统元年（1436年），起初叫作「三美」。因村址处在文笔山麓与蔗潭溪之间，此后才改称山尾。[1]

解放后，此地划入互助乡，为其下的山尾村；1958年归涂寨人民公社，成为山尾生产大队；人民公社改制后的1984年，改设山尾村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

坝内古民居在坝内自然村，是李氏的民居建筑群。清乾隆二十五年至二十九年（1760年至1764年）间始建，民国时重修，1997年与2006年又先后修缮。[2]

建筑群由小宗祠、祖厅、观音妈厅与护厝横向并列，各座之间留有间隔，每座均为两进三开间。小宗祠原先是清乾隆二十七年（1762年）岁贡士李逊轩的宅第。[2]
