历史沿革[edit]
1956年设店前乡，1958年改为店前大队，1983年复称店前乡，1987年2月设村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年定名店前村民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
西厅渡在店前村东北的南渡河中游，隔河与东岭村相望，两岸尚存燕尾槽结构的青石道。始建年代不详，明万历《雷州府志》已有记载，清乾隆十一年（1746年）、道光三十年（1850年）曾重修。宋元时期，这里是雷州窑陶瓷出海的重要埠头；民国以前，乌石、北和一带的人进雷州城须经此渡。2019年7月17日，西厅渡升为「第九批广东省文物保护单位」。[2]
