东方村位于罗溪镇东南部，距镇中心约7公里，四面环山，村名因地处罗溪镇东部而来。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期为四十七都，民国时属大罗溪东方保，解放后设第一区东方乡。1958年为罗溪公社东方大队，1965年自翁山村分出，独立为一个行政村。1984年改为罗溪乡东方村，后称罗溪镇东方村。[1][2]

经济[edit]

村民以农耕为主，麦冬、郁金、生姜是主要经济作物。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村子位于玉叶山南麓，山上建有白龙寺，并残存山寨寨墙。[2]
