北门社区位于泉州市区城北环路一带，与鲤城区华新社区相连，是清源街道下辖的城市社区。[1][2]社区前身为北门村，2003年改设为北门社区。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

早年为北星社，属合作社时期的名称；公社化后称北门大队。此后经北门村委会、村公所两个阶段，1999年成为北门居民区，2003年才设立北门社区，所辖范围未变。[1][2]

社区情况[edit]

丰泽区政府于2026年1月公开的资料显示，社区划为8个居民小组和6个网格，以常住人口为主，约1300人；外来流动人员有250人左右，驻区单位仅一家。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2006至2010年度、2017至2019年度，社区两次被泉州市委和市政府评定为文明社区。[3]2021年11月，社区被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
