高山社区是泉州市鲤城区金龙街道下辖的社区，东邻浮桥社区，西接古店社区，北连石崎社区[1][3]。

历史沿革[edit]

社区原为一个自然村，分山头、山中、山尾三处，由林、尤等多姓组成[2]。

据博雅地名网所载，林氏一支在明朝万历年间迁入，分为三房；尤氏一支也迁入定居[2][3]。

社区历史上是侨乡，解放前男劳力多外出海外谋生。1920年，侨资兴建的高峰小学开办，此后又有幼儿园[2]。

1958年，社区推行火化，建起集体塔墓；2001年扩建为安息楼[2][3]。

名胜古迹[edit]

社区内保留古民居、古庙宇多座，以及百年榕树四株[2][3]。

著名人物[edit]

光绪年间，林氏长房的林坤黎中举人，村中因此立起旗杆，如今留有「旗杆脚」「旗杆巷」等地名[2]。
