南溪村属杉城镇，是革命老区村，位于县城西部，距县城约8公里。全村有7个自然村和8个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年12月至1951年12月设磜溪乡政府，隶属一区；1956年归新桥区；1958年改为磜溪生产大队，归红旗公社。1980年自磜溪分出，设南溪生产大队；1984年9月设为村民委员会。[2]

古迹[edit]

2013年名录登记周家山邹长孺墓（宋代，古墓葬，位于周家山自然村）、周家山水尾石拱桥（清代）和南溪古井（清代）。[3]

生产与旅游[edit]

村子以烟草种植和毛竹生产为主，近年也开发了旅游，有南溪漂流和大洋嶂红色旅游。[1]
