溪头村在屏山乡西北部，东与吴山乡梓溪村相邻，西接石牌镇拱桥村，北靠内洋村。村名因地处梓溪的源头而来。三泉高速穿村而过，村子四周群山环绕。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

原属德化县，1950年改归大田县，划入第六区。1958年隶属屏山公社，1984年以屏山乡溪头村之名设立村民委员会。[4]

经济[edit]

村民以种植业为主，茶叶种植带来的收入较为可观。[2]

文化[edit]

2024年7月，溪头村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
