上坡村是石牌镇西南部的行政村，东、南两面与老厝村交界，西接武陵乡，北靠石牌村，距镇政府约3公里。全村由上坪、上坡、小汤泉、牛皮坑4个自然村组成。[1]

华武线横贯村域，村内地热资源丰富。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是：进村处一道河坝的上游旧称「上陂」，后来改「陂」为「坡」，村名遂称上坡。[1]

明清时属坊都。1949年后先后隶属均溪镇、大田第一区石牌乡、均溪公社、城关公社、红湖公社。1984年建乡时改为石牌乡上坡村村民委员会，1997年撤乡设镇后称石牌镇上坡村村民委员会。[1]

人物[edit]

中国科学院院士郑有炓是上坡村人。他1935年10月生于福建大田，专攻半导体材料与器件物理，1957年毕业于南京大学物理系，2003年当选中国科学院院士。[3][4]

荣誉[edit]

2021年4月，村被命名为「2021年三明市民主法治示范村（社区）」；2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

2023年2月，上坡村列入「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。2024年7月，村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
