新坡村在高桥镇南部，离高桥集镇约2公里，下辖2个自然村。[1]

全村现有275户、1014人（该页未注明统计年份）。[1]

2021年11月，被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2023年12月，被命名为「2023年度福建省森林村庄」；2024年7月，被命名为「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村头旧有木坡坝，屡被洪水冲毁，此后另建新坝，村因此称新坡。[3]

明代属十二都。新中国成立前此地属高桥乡的官庄保，此后划入高桥区官庄乡。1958年成为官庄大队辖下的村，1962年另立高桥公社的新坡大队，1984年起称新坡村村民委员会。[4]
