新坡村位于福建省莆田市涵江区国欢镇，村名取自其原为一片海边斜坡的地貌，又因在塘头周边的村落中开发最晚。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

在宋元时期，这一带隶属唐安乡的永丰里；明清两代改归三区管辖，仍属永丰里。中华人民共和国成立前，村地属新洋保，之后归涵江区新洋乡。1958年划入涵江公社塘头大队，1961年设新坡大队，1984年改设新坡村委会，1993年起属国欢镇。[1]

2024年1月，新坡村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
