岭下村位于常太镇西南部，村子坐落在山岭之下，村名由此而来。[1]

村内的李富墓位于坪田自然村，为宋代建造的墓葬，2005年公布为福建省文物保护单位。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1947年至1949年8月，此地属莆田县第十四区的长基保，1950年曾叫作常太区的一个分区。此后，它改归第十四、十五区的常太区，1957年划入常枫乡。1961年设岭下生产大队，隶属常太区人民公社。1968年改由革命领导小组管理，1980年又恢复岭下生产大队的名称，1984年改设岭下村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

李富墓坐南朝北偏西40°，墓平面呈「风」字形，设三个墓埕，墓前设花岗石祭台，其须弥座的束腰上刻有浮雕，这些构件都是建墓时的原物。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年12月，经国家林业和草原局公布，岭下村列入「第二批国家森林乡村」名单。村子于2020年11月列入「2020年度莆田市中级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]

2021年2月，岭下村列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；2021年11月，获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2021年12月，被确定为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」。[1]
