莲花村在莲花镇政府驻地南面约2.5公里处，村名取自境内的莲花山。[1]

人口与产业[edit]

据博雅地名网，村中住户551户，居民1977人，下设4个自然村与6个村民小组，年份未注。村民大多种植紫长茄等蔬菜。2011年村集体收入9.16万元，人均纯收入8399元。[1]

沿革[edit]

清代此地分属归德里六、七、八都的垵柄保。民国时它并入莲山乡的后寨保，1950年隶属第三区后寨乡。1959年与后埔村合组后寨大队，归莲花公社管辖；1961年单独划出，设莲花大队。1984年改设村委会，隶属莲花乡，1991年乡改镇时一并变更。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村东约500米处有一座烈士墓，建于上世纪五十年代初，葬有解放战争时期牺牲的部分革命先烈。它是镇里的爱国主义教育场所，每年清明，附近群众多来祭扫。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2021年4月，获评「2020年度福建省乡村振兴实绩突出村」。[1]
  • 2022年10月，被命名为「2022年全国示范性老年友好型社区」。[1]
  • 2023年2月，列入「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
  • 2024年1月，被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
  • 2024年2月，成为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」的创建对象。[1]
  • 2025年11月，被认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
