江头社区是福建省厦门市湖里区江头街道下辖的社区，位于厦门本岛几何中心一带，台湾街以东、成功大道以西。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区地处筼筜港东岸的尽头，「港头」与「江头」谐音，因而沿用此名。[1]

此地在民国初归吕石保管辖，抗战胜利后的1945年改属江头保；新中国建立之初隶属江头乡，1958年成为郊区禾山公社下的江头大队。1964年设立江头居民委员会，2003年改制为社区。[1]
