溪头村是阳下街道下辖的行政村，辖两个自然村。村名来自可洛溪、柴桥溪、土坝溪三溪合流并入大北溪的汇流处，村落位于大北溪上游。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代此处归永福乡遵义里，元代仍旧。1959年，溪头作为大队自新局分出；1961年隶阳下公社；1984年9月改为村委会，归阳下乡；2005年12月起改设街道。[1]

荣誉[edit]

本村属「双百工程」，是福州市首批新农村建设示范村之一。2015年2月，中央文明委授予溪头村「第四届全国文明村镇」称号。2022年10月，溪头村入选「2022年淘宝村」名单；同年12月，溪头村被列为福州市中级版「绿盈乡村」（2022年度）。[1]
