南门社区是凤山镇的居民社区，地处城关南部，因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这里在明至清末属东隅里，民国时期归第一区与凤山镇。1950年曾设三街人民政府，1958年称三街居委会，「文革」期间设三街革委会，1983年恢复居委会，1984年改称南门居委会。[1]

2020年6月入列罗源县第四轮第一批（2019年）「平安村（社区）」名单；2021年11月获「2021年福建省卫生社区」称号，授予方为福建省爱卫办。[1]
