北门社区是凤山镇下辖的居民社区，位于旧城区的北门一带，名称因此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明至清末，此地属东隅里。1950年设立一街人民政府，归第一区管辖，1952年改属第六区，1955年隶属城关镇。1958年改称一街居委会，1965年属城镇公社与凤山镇，「文革」期间设一街革委会，1983年恢复居委会建制，1984年定名北门居委会。[1]

2020年6月入列罗源县第四轮第一批（2019年）「平安村（社区）」名单；北门社区于2021年11月获「2021年福建省卫生社区」称号，授予方为福建省爱卫办。[1]
