村名的来历是：早先此地有三棵楄树，称三楄村，后因“山边”与“三楄”谐音而改称山边。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

清代村子归安义里管辖。1961年成立山边大队，1999年修建村部，2002年迁至现址。[1][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

林家宗祠始建于清同治年间，2001年村民集资重建，占地1200多平方米。[2]
