茶园街道是福建省福州市晋安区下辖的街道，位于福州城区北部，南与岳峰镇相邻。1996年福州行政区划调整时，原属鼓楼区的五四街道划归晋安区，改名茶园街道。辖区内有福州火车站和福州长途汽车北站，是福州的交通枢纽之一。[1][5][8]

地理环境[edit]

街道面积约4.7平方千米，地处城区平原。西面隔晋安河与鼓楼区的温泉、华大街道相望，北面以铁路与新店镇琴亭村为界，东面与新店镇桂山村接壤。[1][9][11]

晋安区把北部山地与平原分作几层，茶园与王庄、象园两个街道属于平原区，北部中山和低山丘陵则位于其外围。[9]

历史沿革[edit]

唐代此地属闽县凤池乡，宋元两代改隶怀安县的凤池东乡，明代怀安县撤销后仍归闽县凤池东乡。清代划入侯官县西园区，民国时属闽侯县第五区，即新店区。[5]

新中国成立后，此地先后归福州市郊区管辖。1956年前后修建华林路、东浦路，1957年动工兴建福州火车站，城市化由此开始。[3][5]

1982年设立五四街道，隶属鼓楼区。1996年福州行政区划调整，五四街道划入晋安区，更名为茶园街道。[2][5]

1986年，辖区内的茶峰被削平，改作工业用地、游乐场地和村民住房。2006年5月红星村撤村改居，同年7月又分设金鸡社区，由原红星村村改居而成。[3][6]

地名由来[edit]

茶园之名来自境内的茶峰，茶峰又称茶园山，旧时在它下面有一个茶园村。[3][4]

街道机构简介载，辖区常住人口约5.15万人，流动人口约3.27万人。百度百科载2011年末辖区总人口52428人。[1][7]

名胜古迹[edit]

茶峰开元寺位于街道内，据传建于唐代乾符年间。1979年乡民与港澳台同胞集资重修。2013年3月，因火车站周边征收改造，寺庙迁到茶园新苑南侧重建，为三层混凝土建筑。[3]

茶峰胜境的始建年份为明代隆庆三年（1569年），2001年平整地面时挖出的刻字石条可以证实。2012年随茶园村旧房改造被拆迁，2016年在茶园新苑南侧仿古重建，同年6月迁入新址。[3]

凤山社区辖区内有金鸡山双龙寺。[6]

社区命名[edit]

辖区社区多以所在位置或旧地名命名。站前社区因在火车站北广场与汽车北站前而得名，站东社区在火车站东侧，环南、环北分别位于二环路以南、北环中路以北，洋下东与洋下西以六一北路为界，金鸡社区因所处的金鸡山得名。[10]

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，茶园街道列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[4]
