地名据称源于唐开元元年（713年），因钱塘江口的船埠而得。[3]

沿革[edit]

社区前身为江口村，2002年6月30日撤村建居。[2][3]

社区建设[edit]

撤村建居后，社区汇编了51个工作职责与制度，并规范了党员「三会一课」与百分考核制度。[2]

党员设岗定责，设立民事调解、帮扶救助、治安巡逻、森林防火等11个岗位，并开展党员结对帮扶中心服务户活动。[2]

社区获「杭州市先进基层党组织」「杭州市文明社区」「西湖区文明社区」等荣誉，另获「西湖区和谐社区建设创新社区」等称号。[2]
