历史沿革[edit]
江口的前身是1949年冬的江口南乡，后称江口乡。1956年由六个初级社合成菁星高级社，1958年叫江口大队。[1] 1983年又称乡，1987年称管理区，1998年建村委会；2005年江口镇并入太平镇，村名不变。[1]
荣誉[edit]
该村在2019年9月入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」。[1]
