青溪村隶属新港镇，是镇内的一个行政村。村子位于山脚下，周围山峰众多，山间有一条小溪，因山青水秀而得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1999年，东源县政府审批成立青溪村民委员会，名称此后未变。此前该地依次为青溪大队（1958年）、青溪乡（1983年）、青溪管理区（1987年）。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，本村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
