茅陂村在汕尾市海丰县平东镇西南部，村委驻楼下村，离集镇约12千米，位于「九龙峒」革命老区。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
相传清乾隆年间立村。1952年属平龙乡，1958年为公平公社平龙大队；1987年从平龙乡分出设茅陂村委会，1989年改管理区办事处，1998年恢复村委会。[2]
地理与经济[edit]
村域17.92平方千米，山地23653亩，耕地2560亩，下分11个村民小组，楼下、井头、新厝、角仔、青陂、山仔等在内。[1] 以种水稻为主。[2] 2020年8月，茅陂村的金钻凤梨入选首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单；2024年3月被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[2]
镇政府网站提到，农会长陈水文等人在彭湃领导下拥护农民运动。[1]
