砂田村属梅州市丰顺县砂田镇，是一个行政村，位于砂田镇人民政府驻地，辖13个村民小组[1]。
名称由来[edit]
因土质多砂而称砂田[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
砂田大队是砂田公社的组成部分，设于1961年；1983年改称砂田乡；到1987年改镇，成了砂田管理区；1999年春以后叫砂田村村民委员会[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
村情材料记载，在册395户、1702人，总面积10.3平方千米，耕地约410亩；特色收入有陶瓷、水果；上一年农村经济总收入546万元[1]。
其他[edit]
2019年9月，砂田村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」之中。扶贫开发“双到”工作中，在省工商联帮扶下，村里建成商业楼，并为60岁以上村民购买了农村养老保险。[1]。
