梅州村在梅州市梅县区隆文镇境内，是镇辖行政村，村名与山上的野生青梅、杨梅以及早年的畲族居民有关。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，过去村里山上山下长着不少野生的青梅和杨梅，又曾有畲族人居住，起名「梅州畲」，后来一度改作梅珠村，再改为梅州村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1987年设梅州管理区，至1999年成为梅州村民委员会，此后未变。[1]2019年12月，梅州村进入第一批国家森林乡村名单。[1]
