历史沿革[edit]
1950年岩前一带归岩前区管，1959年为岩前大队，1987年改设岩前管理区，至1999年成为岩前村民委员会，此后未变。[1]2019年9月，岩前村名列2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2026年3月，又被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
龙岩寺筑在天然的龙牙岩洞里，又称龙牙寺，相传为明万历初年一位高僧所建；洞高约12米，宽20余米，深约50米，洞内塑有佛像、观音和十八罗汉。[2]绿窟潭是村内的石灰岩溶洞，被称作中国内地发现的第一个陆地水下全淹溶洞，水面一百多平方米。[3]
