历史沿革与地名由来[edit]
据该页所述，林氏先祖从河南迁出，辗转福建、河源，最后定居此地；周围多为横向延伸的山岭，因此得名。1984年设管理区，1998年撤区设村。[1]
经济[edit]
耕地1350亩，集体收入主要来自果场和鱼塘出租，发展农业专业合作社与订单农业，种植反季节蔬菜、甜玉米。[1]
