沙澳村是惠州市惠城区三栋镇的行政村，村中何氏相传明代从梅县迁来[1]。
地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，明代何氏村民从梅县迁入，村在河边，河沙长年堆积如山、凹凸不平，起名沙凹，后因“凹”与“澳”谐音，写作沙澳。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1951年3月以前属马安，同年4月土改后划归三栋；1957年划归马安，1958年10月与竹仔园一同划回，成为幸福人民公社的沙澳营。此后属永湖公社，1961年起主要属三栋人民公社（1962年至1973年间曾并入永湖公社）；1986年7月三栋撤区建镇，改称沙澳村委会，属三栋镇至今[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，沙澳村列入2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2026年1月，评为「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」[1]。
