地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，村旁山地的形状像一条龙，原名龙口，并称霸山；“霸”与“坝”同音，后来写作坝山口。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年起为三栋乡辖下的行政村；1957年并乡时一度归麻溪乡，1961年改属麻溪人民公社，1973年三栋人民公社重设后回属三栋。1986年7月三栋撤区建镇，改称坝山口村委会，属三栋镇至今[2]。
历史建筑[edit]
维基百科记载，2013年惠州市公布的第一批历史建筑中，教育建筑有2处位于三栋镇，其中之一是坝山口村养志小学[3]。
